Happy Thanksgiving (Part 2)

This time we went to Keely and Andy's for "Orphan" Thanksgiving, for all us out-of-towners.
Yes, we ate just as much, but may never eat again!
Uncle Buck carves the beast...

and cuddles with Lila.

Those red-heads can cook!

Happy Thanksgiving (Part 1)

OK, it's corny, but on this day of over-indulgence, we feel beyond grateful for all that we have, especially this year. We have health, a beautiful daughter, a lovely life and wonderful friends and family near and far to share them all with (OK we lost at celebrities, but you can't have everything)
How lucky are we!

Many thanks to the Murrays for hosting, we LOVE LOVE you!
Unfortunately we were too busy eating to take many photos, but the day consisted of many lovely people, eating a LOT of fantastic food, topped off with a VERY fun game of celebrities. PERFECTION? Pretty durned close!
Kieran tells Quinn about all the wonderful sites there are to see in the world.
Don amuses the baby with his mad skills

Aunty Tracy bounces the beauty...

...and teaches some basic piano, who knew?

Dinner with the Aherns

Our delightful friends; Shauna, Danny and Lucy invited us over on a stormy night for a cozy dinner. Given they are both amazing cooks trying out recipes for their book, we'd go just for the food... turns out they are lovely company and have the CUTEST daughter too!

You know, I just ate... is this wise?

3 Months Old!

SO talented; Lila can now blow bubbles and make BUCKETS of drool!
She has discovered and is FASCINATED by her feet.

She's learning to be a charmer

Huh?

She sleeps through all outdoor activities, and does not appreciate her stylin' headwear.

Someday I'll demand a Pony!

It's very sweet that Connor and some of the other SCDS kids would invite Lila into school rituals and traditions so early!

Peas in a Pod

I don't think Quinn is too worried about Lila's paternity, she has his eyes, nose (thank GOD!), and head shape (well you can't have everything), she sneezes like him, she likes to stay up late and sleep in and loves his voice.

Clearly she is also going to be a computer geek.

Although it's a bit much sometimes.

And they love to read the funnies on Sunday.

They tell you the time goes fast, but SHEESH!

There seems to be something new every day, whether it's a change in routine, or something that worked yesterday doesn't now, or she's suddenly fascinated in something that's been in front of her for weeks

She babbles all day (Thomsen genes in full force)

She' a great sleeper (Jones genes there)

Mostly she's super happy and mellow and we are VERY grateful for that!

Oh Happy Happy Week!

Tina and Reece's place on election night, this time we loved the comfort food, but didn't NEED it!
Yeahhh!!!!!

Will you teach me how to cook one day?

Blue is Lila's favorite color ("favourite colour" for those not from this land).
