Graduation

 Janet holds a summer picnic for current and alumni kids. She always celebrates kids moving on to school with a graduation cake.

This summer that was Lila and Soren 

 I asked Lila the other day what she would wish for if she had 3 wishes, her first was that Janet would be at her new school

FIVE!

 Lila's actual birthday was very low key. We gave her lots of choices of things to do, but she wanted to stay home and play legos.

Presents were opened early

 And she spent the day dressed in her medieval wear 

 Chocolate cupcakes and a long play in the bath ended a "prefect birthday"

Lila's 5th Birthday Party

 I can't quite believe it, but Lila turns 5 this week... 5!

I am not quite sure what happened to the last 5 years, but here we are.

Lila wanted a party with her closest friends with a super hero/princess theme.

Grandma Lila came to the rescue and made capes/cloaks and masks to decorate.

She had a blast

Murr Turns 40

 Aaron delayed celebrating his 40th birthday so that more of us could join in.

A group kayaked in the morning and met the lazier of us for a picnic in the afternoon

 Quinn made a Kube set which the group decorated. It was a very fun and popular activity

 There's nothing nicer than sitting in a park with good people in the middle of the Seattle summer
