The Dependents

We decided to hold our very own girl's rock-band night.
May I introduce "The Dependents"
 Keely provided our costumes
Which came in handy for all the involuntary incontinence
Kathleen (one of the smartest people I know) dropped her IQ by a good 100 points
Keely was strongest on bad 70s and 80s song vocals, but rotated through all the instruments

 Our ensemble
 Quinn provided PRN tech support
This may be my all time fave photo of my classy friend Gill

Seabrook

Last week was Quinn's Spring break. We went to Seabrook for a few days. @ nights with just the 3 of us, and 2 nights with many more
 BEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was our little cottage. Lila loved it, not just because it had a bunk bed, but baskets of toys and the best thing; a hot tub
This is a LONG blog entry. We (I) took close to 600 photos, so this is really the reader's digest version (be grateful)

We left Seattle at 3pm and were settled in, eaten dinner, had a cocktail and were on the beach by 7pm
This is "Longboarder" the larger and grander house for our second 2 nights.
 Bunk beds!
The 2nd day it rained, a lot, so much so we needed to head indoors and Lila experienced bowling for the first time
Nobody was hurt, so a succesful trip

 Cosy
Then the sun came and stayed and it was glorious for 3 straight days

 Actual T-shirt weather

Meet "badly carved moose" who became somewhat of a celebrity
Cleve was the first to arrive and made pizza for everyone
Then Don, Kirsten, Aaron, Laura, Kieran, Connor, Dave, Correne, Justine, Brandon, Jim, Micaela, Xavier, Karma, Finn and Rosie arrived
It was wonderful/chaotic/fun to be under one roof

Games for young and old were played
 Shows to watch
But mostly sun and beach to enjoy

Seabrook's new addition is a lovely indoor pool, so there was daily swimming and hot-tubbing

 And a little drinking
 Exhausting!
 Here's the group shot

 Not so zen

One last run on the beach before heading home. Thank you sun!
