Poets who read their own verse aloud probably have other bad habits, but as I am just a guy with a blog, and anyone reading this knows most of my bad habits, I'll put one up anyway. It's actually from the end of last summer, but I found it this summer.

Corrine and Dave moved back to Seattle a couple of months ago. They are delightful and we enjoyed a lazy summer party celebrating their youngest son Brandon's 2nd birthday

Happy Father's Day

Quinn is an awesome father. He is patient and kind and gentle. He is fun and sweet and clear and fun. I have a lot to learn from him about how to "handle" children. Lila and I adore him and I thank my lucky stars for him every day

We spent Father's day on the boat. Lila did great, and it was the first time we've been out with her that I was able to not worry every moment that she'd leap overboard.

Quite the crew

Of course there were margaritas in our weekend. We decided to get Lila trained in lime-juicing as Charlotte is no longer available for the task. Mostly she licked everything, but we did have enough juice for one or two...

And there's always park time. I think Lila is very much looking forward to a summer with her Daddy.

Having poo-pooed the idea of rock band, I actually find it great fun. Ben, Raquel, Madison, Isabelle and Maria made quite the band

Birthday Wishes

This is Quinn. I really don't need anything, but rather than fight with people over it, here are things I'd like for my birthday if you have a mind to get me something.

First, you almost can't go wrong with www.thinkgeek.com
THe Firefly stuff, the star trek stuff, the star wars stuff, the goofy tech stuff...and even if you did go wrong somehow, say you picked the bacon flavored gum, the laugh I'd get out of thinking about you picking that for me would be worth it. If you get a T-shirt make it big. Larges aren't Large enough.
You could also buy a geeky t-shirt for Lila (like the self rescuing princess or the rocket back pack.) or for Alison (like the planet express or the sunnydale high shirts)...any of those would really be for me.

I'm also a little fascinated by the Playstation Sharpshooter and/or the game Socom 4 which will use the sharpshooter.

but I'm really happy with a card or a call, or a game of catch in the park.
