BIRTHDAY!

It was probably not wise to allow Lila multiple cupcakes, it could be the reason that she was up at 3am the night after, but she did have a blast!
We had a small but lovely gathering at Magnuson.

Lila's day care friends also turned 3 this month, so we had a double whammy of birthday parties.

The Birthday Project

Yes, yes we're obsessed with our child.

Here's the idea we had. I have loved the 7 Up series. A bunch of kids from different backgrounds interviewed every 7 years from 7 to 59 (so far). I thought it would be fun to ask Lila the same questions every year and see how her answers chage over time. So, here's the first. Some of the questions are clearly too much for a 3 year old, but we'll see how that changes over time.

I had to actually bargain/bribe her to wear something other than her usual leggings and T-shirt for some photos
She got an extra show, I know I'm a bad mother

But look how cute these outfits are!!!

We were both comfortable with the deal.

Fresh from the San Juans we headed east to Spokane and Fat Chance Ranch

We even went on a gondola ride of the Spokane Falls. It was no less than 120 degrees in the gondola
