 Something very exciting happened this week.

The proof of Quinn's book arrived and it looks fantastic. It doesn't need any further edits so we should get a shipment of 100 books in the next couple of weeks.

I could not be prouder of my author husband.  

Christmas is Coming!!!!!!

 Well, it's officially the season. Lila has fully embraced it. She made a family Christmas tree, no big shocker that Grandma scored the star at the top of the tree. Note bonus mermaid top right.

 Yesterday we decorated our tree. Lila unwrapped all the ornaments, which was like opening 50 small gifts just for her. Every other one was her "most favorite". We played Chritmas music and she hung at least 5!

 Lila made sure that Magrat or "the dang cat" was not left out.

 We are now having regular playdates with Max, they both talk about it all week and there is much screaching of joy when the happy event finally happens

Vashon Christmas

 We headed over to Vashon Island for the day to help decorate Lucy's tree. The girls immediately stripped and put on costumes that were then changed every 15 minutes

 They do play together but also have long spells apart. "Bumble Bee Girl" bumbled around and read as many of Lucy's books as she could cram in

 Ah, and then they found their way into a full pot of face make up.
