Who Says Laundry Isn't Fun?

On Fridays I do laudry while Lila plays in the water. It's a perfect system that guarantees the laundry room floor is mopped at least once a week. Everyone's happy!

We had the pleasure of hanging out with Elizabeth for a few hours this weekend. It's fascinating watching them. Both walking and babbling away. They either completely ignored each other, or broke out into spontaneous hugging.

Mother's Day Weekend

This weekend was Mother's Day in my country. I get to celebrate twice!

We had a low key weekend, Lila became snottier over the weekend, so we just relaxed.

By the end of Sunday she was a drooling mass of snot, poor love.

The Mercedes fits a little better this year

It's Quinn's school auction today. Last year he "won" this toy Mercedes, here are pics of Lila today and a year ago. Her feet still don't touch the pedals.

And yet her love for Sheepy grows...

Sheepy and "other" Sheepy are always at her side. She reads to them, loves on them, and when feeling especially affectionate; she gives a hoof a good gnaw.

Things to do on a rainy morning

Lila loves to paint at daycare, so we bit the bullet with our $14 Ikea easel. It's a bit hit.

Another Sunny Weekend

Having only been to the zoo in the rain, during the week or as it opens at the weekend, we were unprepared for the crowd it draws on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. Oh we won't make that mistake again.

Having now mastered Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and a few other songs; Lila enjoys the added challenge of singing with several cheese crackers crammed into her mouth. It's a game, a song and a death defying choking hazard!

Lucy Visits

Considering they talk about each other a lot, they don't pay too much attention to each other when they do meet up.

It was a lovely weekend, Lucy, Danny and Shauna stayed over and we had sushi and actual conversation after the girls went to bed.
