A Close to Perfect Day

This morning everyone slept in until 9:30, and after a lazy morning we hit Discovery Park on one of the loveliest days in weeks
Lila gravitated towards all things sandy, wet and muddy as usual

She enjoyed the adventure on the way out

It's such a pretty place, with gorgeous views. I don't know why we don't go there more

It was so nice just to hang out together

AND a beach too

The weather did strange things. It's actually raining at the same time here

This is one of the many reasons we live here

It's finally Christmas Week. It's the calm before the pleasant storm.
The McSpeerts came over for dinner to help us celebrate the end of work and start of vacation
