Random pictures, just 'cos.

She is starting to get cheeky. She migrates under the coffee table to play peek-a-boo!

We are terrible parents, yesterday we noticed 2 more teeth that have clearly been there a week or so... now 6 in total. Cutting teeth doesn't seem to bother her one bit so far.

She's a Daddy's girl, and why not, he's nice to lean on.

Better start the baby-proofing!

Elizabeth

3 days younger than Lila. So much hair and so full of beans!

She came for a spot of tea.

At least Jeff's happy in this picture...

Maybe a little too happy!

8 Months Old

Another milestone (actually it was yesterday... there are actually some days when I don't take a photograph!)
At the moment she is babbling and making all kinds of sounds, she is learning to hold a bottle, she's thinking about crawling, but hasn't gotten past being up on all fours and rocking, she is intensly curious, sleeps like a rock and continues to be happy and mellow most of the time.
She loves day care, pears, prunes, books and baths.
No weights or measurements until next month.

Sunday on the Deck

It was 70 degrees today, so we spent Sunday morning on the deck, our second obsession!

Upset tum?

Trying to get the knack, but gravity is challenging.

The Deck is DONE!

Before...

After!!!!!!!!!!

We LOVE it! You can almost taste the Margaritas can't you?

The Easter Bunny keeps going and going...

Lila was given MANY Easter gifts, thank you everyone.

Easter Bunny!

Today the Easter Bunny came, My Grandma! What big ears you have!

Lila wasn't sure about the ears at first...
Then she loved them...

Then fully embraced the role.

The Easter bunny also brought Lila a new outfit, which she managed not to drool or vomit on!

They had a lovely day

Thank You Easter Bunny.

Then and Now.

Lila, the invertebrate, in the Bumbo at 2 months...
...and 7 months.

We finally found a Jones trait in her!

Actually 2; her love of food...

...and her control freak leanings. She likes to have the spoon!
I'm sure accuracy will come in time.

What?

Bath time maybe!

If you crawl; the snake's yours!

Lila's Grandmothers are intent on her crawling, while her Mother is very happy with her stationary baby!

Reeeaaach!
That's my girl!

Deck Day 4-5 (is this interesting to anyone but us???)

The Spokane Grandparents came to visit Lila and help with said deck.

It was hard on the knees!

Nice!

The last piece was tricky, but satisfying.

Aaron doing math for the stair railings

All done!

Aaron did a phenomenal job on the stairs and made the gate and railings in less than 6 hours. Of course it's also perfect!
