Snowsville (AKA Spokane)

Quinn's Dad calls this paradise... it certainly looks it.

We headed over to Spokane for a couple of days, we wereVERY lucky in that the roads were great despite the snow storm that hit Seattle before we left and Spokane while we were there

It was a lovely visit with Grandpa and Grandma Laura

Mostly she was interested in following the cats around and not so much on the fun activities

Playing driving in the garage was also a bit hit

"We" made a snow man AND a snow elephant

But mostly it was all about the cats.

It was lovely, not cold at all when you're bundled up

Indoors Lila was very excited to discover all Grandma Laura's Christmas decs

There was a lot of "don't touch Lila"

Laura got Lila a holiday frock, which Lila LOVED. So we had a little photo shoot

Obsessed? You think?

Then there was general exploring

and snacking

Laura put up her tree while we were there. This was a first for Lila... again; a lot of "don't touch"but mostly she was fascinated

Lila's been talking about Chance since she first met him, so was thrilled to see him again

2nd Thanksgiving

This is my 6th year of TG with this lovely group of people. Kieran was a bump in a belly when I met them

Now he entertains Quinn... not too tricky really

Connor is a ham

Lila loves to go to their house as there is an unding supply of fresh toys and books

And then there was massive consumption

Followed by massive lethargy. This is the chillest game of rockband ever

Connor and Lila were the only ones with ANY energy

They have a LOT

Lila showed her usual enthusiasm for desert

Why Go Out?

Lila loves being at home. Dress up is a new thing. It's fun for all of us

SNOW... Day 2

Lila started her day with a cup of tea in bed... not a bad life h?

She was psyched that it was still snowy out

Can we go out now?

So, out we went and it was FREEZING

I had just leant her snow suit to a friend visiting colorado, so did not have great snow clothes, so I just put all of her clothes on, she could barely move

AND we broke out the new sled

It was a hit, for the most part

Mostly she liked walking around. It was too powdery to make a snow man, or even snow balls.

But made for a soft landing

And of course snow angels

She did a bit of downhill sliding and liked it, but much prefered to explore by foot

Not the ginormous mittens are on again
