Lila's New Love

 Lila is a on-to-one kind of a gal, she has lots of friends but she loves to be with one person the best.

Beatrix is Lila's new best friend, she's in Lila's class and they are "middles name sisters" as they both have Grace.

They measure their sisterhood on their sister dial, which goes up (but interestingly never down) when they find things they have in common. Lila says their sister dial went past infinity a long time ago!

So, here she is waiting (not so patiently) for her first out of school play date.

 "B" is a sweetheart.

 Lila has also brainwashed B with her love of Eeks, when B and Lila got the same Eek the sister dial (just exploded"!

Easter

 We were lame parents this Easter, but rallied a bit with an Easter Egg Hunt complete with checklist!

Maybe there's some Jones in there somewhere

 We even did the traditional egg decorating

 Aunty B sent some new outfits, Lila LOVES her new "heart swirly" dress and a kit to make an Easter Sheep!

Backpack

Thought I would show you Lila's school backpack. Toys are officially not allowed at school, but even in Kindergarten the kids figure out their work-arounds

Max Visits

 Lila still adores Max and it was lovely to see him today. He is happy to play cats (Lila's fave game) so he has that going for him too

 Max has a baby sister, who sadly I did not take a photo of; Charlotte Katherine... what lovely names!!!

Gill's Surprise 70th Soiree

 We had a lovely evening of wine and chat with Gill and friends, celebrating her 70th birthday.

She is one of the kindest and dearest people I know.

Justin is 8!!

 Justin had a very exciting 8th birthday party with go-cart racing.

 Here's the mob all ready to go. Lila only actually went about 12 feet, but decided she didn't like it

 Then the even bigger boys couldn't resist the even faster cars
